Unfortunately, society perceives sex and expressions of interest in it somewhat inadequately. What does this mean?

A story from my life. About 15 years ago, I posted my erotic topless photos on a social network (where such photos were allowed). At that time, I was a regional director of a company. One of the representatives of the same company in another region saw my photos and panicked, saying things like "this is disgracing the company", "this is indecent", "all photos must be removed or Julia must resign"... For me, it was wild and outrageous. At that time, I needed courage to post semi-naked photos. In this case, my attempts at self-expression were trying to be crushed from the start.

Another story told to me by one of the club members. He had a girlfriend with whom they took photos and videos of themselves having sex. In my opinion, this is VERY correct and developmental for sex and relationships. So, their content fraudulently got into the hands of criminals. They demanded money, threatening to show their spicy content to friends, relatives, and at work. The man refused to pay, and the content was seen at work and at home. As a result, he was fired, and relationship of his girlfriend with her family members was ruined, and the relationship with his girlfriend fell apart.

In my opinion, this is just a horrific barbarism on the part of society, which perceives sex and its manifestations as something indecent, shameful, and not entitled to exist. According to such a society, sex is something personal, closed, it cannot be talked about, demonstrated, improved or developed. Sex is only intended for procreation. Therefore, sex should be done at home, in the dark, under the covers, so that no one sees or hears it.
In my opinion, THIS IS COMPLETE NONSENSE!!! But unfortunately, such perception exists in the modern world.
