Default A place for the mentally inclined

Reading over the link on The Theory of Sex, it looks like a good direction. There is facts in the theory, even without being academic.

I like the idea of having the tools and the discussion to give many places to find out about yourself and others. This will be a unique insight into a community. Sorta like being at a Christmas party and knowing everyone's sexual kinks. But instead of thinking of it one dimensionally, using the information to build bonds and deeper discussions

The theory also seems to point to suppressed sexual feelings. I am in agreement on this, I feel modern culture and some powerful religions have caused humans to have to suppress many natural sexual emotions and needs. I believe this has the effect of stress, and we may not even understand why the stress is there.

My opinion on that:
Following a cultural tradition or rules may have been taught to us, as the right thing to do, but it may not be the natural way for our body. I like hearing about other peoples points of view, so I can get a broader understanding.

Maybe through these discussions, we can make progress to get back to our natural self, as humans.

I haven't taken the instrument test or (tools) yet, but I am definitely going to.
If people give their honest opinions in the test, this could be great data for research on sexual theories.

Thanks for your feedback!

An interesting expression is "to be at a Christmas party and know all the sexual perversions." Yes, you are right, this knowledge should not be used one-dimensionally. This knowledge is necessary in order to really understand your current place in the world of sex. This place is your starting point on the path to excellence.

And yes, the Theory of Sex Project will soon offer instruments to find out your starting point and help you on your path to perfection!

Default Sex theory is a form of disagreement for me.

As a supporter of fundamental teachings, religions, and cultures, I have always seen in them a call for individual freedom. But the followers of these phenomena distorted the idea and converted it into an instrument of control and power.
The first victim of such distortions in the name of achieving power was sex. It turned out that the restriction on sex allows you to control the ability of a person in socialization and self-expression.

The restriction on sex has existed for so long that modern society is not able to explain the reason for the restrictions on sex, what is sex and what is sex for. And most importantly, what are the consequences of sexual restriction on the physical, and intellectual development of a person.

I believe that the creation of a theory of sex will allow us to find answers about the purpose of sex and its potential in human development.

Alex, you are absolutely correct.

Once Justinian came to recognize Christianity while he was king (527-548 AD), it gave priests a new way of enforcing power. Priest that were corrupt changed many rules about relationships. Justinian himself had many wives prior to joining Christianity, and the church attempted to convert him to monogamy. This was a big change in history but has been silenced over time. Modern relationship thinking among the general media sources portray monogamy as "normal". But as you can see from looking at real history, the true nature is more like polygamy.

The Church (corrupt priests) would twist things over time to benefit having to sacrifice. This all benefited the church because people would pay to the church to have their sins forgiven. Over time this made the religious organizations rich. Humans can't seem to resist easy money, and that leads to power, and then there is the old phrase, "power corrupts".

There is also reason to believe that the canonization of the scriptures was altered over time. But written records are very scarce, so it is hard to tell everything that might have been changed. The priests were not accountable to anyone but themselves. Also priests and monks were the only people able to read. Which made it easy for them to make changes as they desired.

All this to show reasons why we need to ask questions and realize we might not have been taught truth by religions and cultures.

As Alex states, this has been going on since the beginning of time. Definitely into pre-history.
