I myself don't like to have pubic hair, including hair on lips.

The reasons:
* Not comfortable;
* I don't feel clean;
* Hot (since I stay now in all-life summer place).

Also, in my opinion, hairs are needed to protect body from bad impact of environment. But! We are already not wild humans - we have enough ways to protect ourselves.
And, I think, in the current lifestyle (clothes, most of time sitting) it can be maybe even dangerous to have pubic hair.

I'm not sure if my thought are connected to reality. I would love to know opinion of different people on my thoughts about pubic hair.

I agree, pubic hair does make the body look cleaner.

It also seems to heighten the sexual experience.
1) because the areas of the body that are normally covered are now exposed and can be touched. The touching of these areas that are now bare adds to the sensation.
2) visually being able to see the sexual organs and watching the penetration helps mentally focus the mind on sex.
3) in reference to the reason 1, being able to use your mouth and tongue on the areas that were once covered with hair makes arousal happen faster and easier. Much more pleasant for both people.

Not to mention that a female with no body hair looks much more appealing in photographs, at least in my opinion.
